Angel Cremation Jewelry-Give Your Love Wings

I’d like to spend a few minutes looking at a few pieces in our collection of angel cremation jewelry. Each angel cremation necklace here reminds me of one of my very favorite quotes about angels, which comes from Joan Wester Anderson, author of the 1993 book Where Angels Walk (Source: Notable Quotes)

“For what is it that angels do? They bring us good news. They open our eyes to moments of wonder, to lovely possibilities, to exemplary people, to the idea that God is here in our midst. They lift our hearts and give us wings.”

Such words, such imagery! It’s no wonder so many people believe in the power of angels to transform lives.

Our first piece of angel cremation jewelry is the very lovely cobalt blue Angel Wings Glass Vial for Ashes. It measures 1 ¼ inches in height and holds about a half-teaspoon of ashes

.

The contents will be securely held, as there’s a threaded lid embedded in the pewter covering the cobalt blue glass vial.

One customer declared it to be “Absolutely perfect” (and I think you’ll feel the same way). One more thing: if you’re concerned about “buying American” you’ll be happy to know this angel cremation necklace is made in America.

This next piece of angel cremation jewelry, the Guardian Angel Wings Cremation Pendant is actually a companion urn, capable of safeguarding small portions of ash–or other mementos–belonging to two separate individuals.

It is made of sterling silver, overlaid with 14K gold and encrusted with crystals to form heart shaped angel wings.  It’s diminutive; just ¾ of an inch wide and 1 ¼ inches high. It comes with a complimentary velvet presentation bag and black satin cord. However, it’s possible to order a 20-inch gold-filled rope chain should that be your preference.

If silver is “your color” you’ll no doubt love this next angel cremation necklace. Made with pride in the USA, this Angel Wings pendant is quality sterling silver and measures ¾ of an inch wide and 1 ¼ inches in height. An optional 20-inch silver chain is available and comes with a velvet storage box.

Affirm God’s Protection with Angel Cremation Jewelry

You may remember this Biblical passage (Psalms 91:11-12): “He will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” Our angel cremation jewelry can be a tangible reminder of God’s promise to care for you “in all your ways”.

And if you’re tempted but still asking yourself if an angel cremation necklace is right for you, you may want to read our resource article “Why Do People Buy Cremation Jewelry?”

Celebrate Celtic Mythology with Our Celtic Horse Cremation Urn

Looking at cultures around the world, you’ll find white horses are powerful mythological symbols–not only in Celtic mythology but also in Norse, Slavic, Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist mythological traditions. The White Horse is also found in the mythologies of cultures of the Far East, including those of Korea, the Philippines, and Vietnam. It is also a part of Native American mythology; specifically for members of the Blackfeet nation, whose snow god rides a white horse.

Although often connected with warrior-heroes, like Rhiannon, a figure in Welsh mythology, white horses are visual representations of purity and spirituality, light, goodness, and freedom. The wide-spread symbolism of the White Horse makes our Sacred White Horse Celtic Cremation Urn an appropriate choice for many families around the globe.

You don’t have to be of Celtic descent to appreciate the beauty and significance of this cremation urn. Just like our Celtic Knot Raku Cremation Urn, each is hand-thrown and hand-carved by a husband and wife using the Japanese Raku technique.

If you like the idea of featuring a more playful image of a horse in a cremation urn for a loved one, Urn Garden also offers the Darling Rocking Horse Bronze Cremation Urn. It’s made in the USA, using the technique of lost wax casting. Like the Sacred White Horse Celtic Cremation Urn, this piece displays well on the fireplace mantel, adding an elegant charm to your home.

Eagle Urns: A Majestic Presence in Your Home

Any one of our bronze cremation urns will add warmth to any interior setting. Blending especially well with earth tones, a bronze cremation urn will also complement purple, green, red and burgundy color schemes and add a note of elegance to your home.

This month, we’d like to shine a spotlight on two of our most popular bronze cremation urns, the Spirit of American Bronze Eagle Cremation Urn, a solitary eagle which stands 19” tall, and our Limited Edition Bronze Eagle Urn, which features a pair of majestic eagles and is 17” high.

Bronze is a Timeless Tribute

Because of its unique properties, bronze is perfect for cast metal sculptures, like our bronze eagle urn. This is because the alloy expands slightly before it sets, filling in the smallest details of the mold used. It then shrinks upon cooling, which makes it easy to remove from the mold. It allows artisans to recreate nature and visualize the imagined in greater detail than stone or ceramic. Bronze has been used for millennia to create memorials for prominent citizens as well as works of art intended to grace public spaces and private homes. Because of their three-dimensional nature, bronze sculptures take up space, just like you and I do; you can related to it much like you can another person or object.

But Why the Bald Eagle?

After all, there dozens of bronze cremation urns modeled on nature available today. What makes the eagle a meaningful, emotive choice for a loved one’s ashes? Is it the intrinsic physical and behavioral characteristics of the bird itself? A large bird, the adult Bald Eagle can be over two feet tall. With keen eyesight and a fearless, tenacious attitude, the Bald Eagle is a fierce predator and protector.
Is it the fact the eagle has been a patriotic symbol of the United States since 1782? It was chosen for the emblem of the nation for many reasons, including the bird’s long life, great strength, protective nature, and majestic appearance. Because of this inherent patriotism, the Spirit of America Bronze Eagle Urn is a perfect way to pay tribute to someone who served in the military or in the political life of our nation.

Or could it be the totemic symbolism–what is often called the “spirit animal”–of the eagle? Embodying freedom, strength, wisdom, power, clear vision, balance, grace and dignity; the eagle is the chosen totem animal for many people around the world. For some, the eagle is a symbol of rebirth asking us to tap into our inner strength; to be willing to go on a journey of self-discovery, to stretch your limits and soar, as the eagle, to new heights of awareness.

If a bronze eagle urn isn’t the right choice for your home, but you’re still intrigued by the imagery and symbolism of the Bald Eagle, you should take a look at our beautiful more traditional, Soaring Free Eagle Urn for Ashes.
